Roles and responsibilitiesKey Activities/ Accountabilities
The incumbent should work in close co-ordination with Project Director to handle day to day issues, maintain Contract labor and liaise with appropriate Government officials such as Labor officers, PF Inspectors etc.
Resolve issues and ensure all labor & statutory compliances as per the National & State laws of Bangladesh.
Dealing with Contract Labor at site, liaising with Labor Law Officers, PF Officers, handling of crises situations such as accidents at site, dealing with local villagers, and local pressures will be essential.
Liaise extensively with local Govt. bodies (e.g. BIDA), Visa authorities, etc. and pre-empt and arising issues and solve them proactively.
Ensuring all local site admin activities such as maintenance of guest house, housekeeping, travel booking, etc. within stipulated time and costs.
The incumbent will be responsible for Payroll of Outsourced staff, handling any IR issues and handling Personnel and Administration at site.
Provide professional HR services including recruitment, onboarding and exit processes, day-to-day HR operations, employee relations and handle employee enquiries on all arising HR issues.
Formulates HR policies & procedures; implement, monitor and follow-up on compliance issues.
Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
Extensive coordination in matter of leave, attendance tracking, ensuring payroll runs on time.
Being SPOC and ensure active communications between management and employees.
Manage and update employee records in HRIS system and provide support in the maintenance of various HR systems.
Required Candidate profileMust be Graduate in any discipline and Diploma or PG Diploma in Industrial Relation/Personnel Management.
Preferably MBA in HR from a reputed University.
12-15 years, in any medium/large sized organization handling personnel management / Industrial relation /Administration/ Payroll and time office management at site.
The person should be fluent in communication in both English and local language (Bengali).
Must be proficient with State Labor Laws of Bangladesh and have experience in resolving site issues ranging from attendance to conflict resolution.
Wide experience in entire gamut of HR at site (recruitment, IR, site issues, local labor laws and compliances, exit, policy management, administration, performance management, exit formalities).
Salary: INR 15,00,000 - 30,00,000 PA.
